Hope
everyone had a happy 4th. So guess what we did
for the 4th of July? We got a 3 year old pug from
The Michigan Pug
Rescue.
Backstory: my kids have ALWAYS wanted a dog
(especially Vivienne, see below), but with the busy
season upon me, a puppy was not something I could
handle, and not sure I could EVER handle. I knew
we all loved Pugs, so I did a little research, asked
around and met a neighbor at the studio who had a pug
and told us where she got it. I will tell you
that my experience with the application and interview
process with the Nathans (the pug rescuers) was just
amazing! They were thorough, without being
intrusive and they wanted the best for our dog.
It was weird after we left their home we felt like
family. Just a great experience all
around. If you are interested in adopting a
pug or know someone who is, please contact them, it is
a WONDERFUL organization to be a part of. So
ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, meet
Edith! After Piaf, Massey, Head and Bunker.

It feels like she's been part of our family forever. She was great on
the way home. Played more once we got home. Then slept in her crate
without a peep. I went to get her at 5:30 and she was just lying in there
awake. She was fantastic with the kids and babysitter all day - even took
a nap on the couch with the kids and snored away. And tonight she's been
a cuddle bug and is snoring away in the recliner with Vernon.
Thanks so much for everything. Just wanted you to know she's doing
fantastic and seems really calm much of the time now. She is making
herself right at home and we are all smitten.

Thanks so much for helping us bring Moe into our family! Here is his picture, and as you can see, he has a great personality. Since he is our first dog, we are teaching each other many new things. Moe enjoys his frequent trips to the dog beach where he can almost keep up with the big dogs and is venturing farther and farther out into the lake. He is very popular in our neighborhood and nothing gets him more excited than attention from strangers. Thanks again to Moe's foster parents, Sara and Mark - we really appreciate all you did for Moe.
