Zeb came to the rescue as an owner surrender because his owned was no longer able to care for him. He is 8-9 years old and housebroken. He had not seen a Veterinarian is several years and has now been brought up to date on his Rabies, DHLLP, Bordetella, heart worm, fecal and blood tests. He tested positive for worms and has been treated for them, he had grass stuck between his teeth and therefore had a dental with approximately 1/2 of his teeth removed. His skin is very dark in color which usually indicates allergies. He weighs 30 pounds and has also been placed on a weight management program to lose weight. He has been placed on medicated baths weekly. He also has a cataract in one of his eyes which will be evaluated by the Ophthalmologist at the end of the month to determine if surgery is required to remove the cataract. He is very active for his age, likes other dogs and gets along with children and adults. Zeb was examined by the Ophthalmologist and he said the Cataracts in both eyes have "minimal effect on functional vision at this time but may progress over time. They should be monitored periodically." He should be seen again in one year.
