Billy and his brother Ralph were adopted from MPR in December, 2004. In 5/09 the owner contacted MPR stating they did not have sufficient time to spend with him as they had an addition to their family. He has been neutered and is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm testing, fecal, blood testing and microchipped.
In June, 2011, the family fell on difficult financial times and were unable to provide for him, they contacted MPR to return him. Billy is very loveable and very sweet. Billy is great with dogs and cats. He is a special needs Pug. He has some vision impairment due to his original owner prematurely opening his eyes before they were meant to be opened and that action permanently damaged his sight. He sees shadows. This by no means stops Billy from getting around the house and he knows how to go up and down stairs. Billy is crate trained, and also enjoys sleeping with his foster mom. Billy is partially potty trained. He will stomp his feet and bark to let you know that he needs to go outside. He wears a belly band while in the house due to the fact that his previous owner found it more convenient to allow him to wear a belly band rather than to let him outside as he had been previously trained to use a doggy door and was housebroken. His potty training is a work in progress, we're getting there. The best way to describe Billy - He's like a sweet, loveable, laid back boy, a huggable teddy bear. All he wants is to be loved.
