Ralphy and his brother Billy were adopted from MPR in December 2004 In 5/09 the owner contacted MPR stating they did not have sufficient time to spend with him as they had an addition to their family. Ralph is blind and has been since he was 6 weeks old when the breeder's husband attempted to open his eyes prematurely. That action damaged his sight. He does well once he has learned the layout of his surroundings. He has been neutered and up to date on all vaccines, heartworm testing and fecal testing. He was trained to use a doggy door. he does have accidents and the previous owner had him wear a belly band to rather than continuing to work with him. He is great with children, dogs and very affectionate. In June, 2011, the family fell on difficult financial times and were unable to provide for him, contacted MPR to return him. We have evaluated his circumstances and determined that he capable of functioning independently will placed individually into the right situation.
