Ellie Mae is a 15 month old female Pug. She was relinquished to the rescue because the owner was unable to afford her care. When she was taken to the rescue's Veterinarian and examined she was found to need emergency surgery for bladder stones. She was unable to pee as a result of the stones. Her bladder wall was very thick which is an indication she had had the stones for some time. She had her surgery, was brought up to date on Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP, Lepto and Flu vaccines heart worm tested and placed on preventative. She is spayed and we were told she is housebroken but has accidents. She is very sweet, likes children and gets along with other dogs.
Interested in adopting her, go to the Adopt/Fost tab, click on it, read all the information until you get to the section that says to downlaoad an application.
Applicants with approved applications will be contacted to set up a time for the family including other dogs to meet her.
If you are unable to adopt, consider making a donation to the rescue to assist with Ellie Mae's and other Pugs Veterinary Expenses.
