Update 8/16/22; Angel was seen by her Veternarian because her foster home felt she walked differently. She is scheduled to be examined for a possible surgical procedure on her hips . Update 4/18/22; Angel is a sweet but timid girl. She seems to attach to one person but does eventually warm up to other adults in the household. Angel has come along way with her shyness and is a very happy, playful, sweet girl. She loves to play fetch and play with other dogs. Angel is potty trained, however you will have to get to know her signals and let her out often until you have a routine. She does not like to be crated but we are using positive reinforcement with treats when we put her in her crate. Angel will do great in an adult home and loves other dogs does not bother the cats.
Update 4/22; It appears that Angel chooses one person in the home she is living in. If she believes that person is being threatened in any way she will come to their defense. For this reason we believe she must go to a home without children and preferably a home with one adult.
Angel came to the rescue from a good samaritan. She is almost 7 months old. She was found in a home where she was not being cared for properly. She has been brought up to date on DHPP, Lepto, Bordetella, Heartworm testing and preventative. She had previously had her Rabies vaccine. She is being treated for bilateral ear infections and Giarda. She is housebroken and spayed. She has the normal puppy energy a loves to play with other dogs. Based on her behavior we feel she needs to go into a home with either one adult or a couple.
