I have the most wonderful guardian angel, Kay (pictured with me), that saved me from a family that had inflicted serious injury on me.  I was brought into a Veterinary office south of South Bend, IN she managed and immediately she took me under her wing.  She had the vet examine me after the family decided they did not have the financial resources to repair the damage.  He determined this was the worst case of abuse he had seen.  As a result, my right front leg was amputated at the shoulder.  During the surgery I was spayed and had bilateral stenoid nares repaired.  I have had my Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines, fecal and heartworm testing.  Kay contacted Pug Luv who met her so that I could be placed into a safe environment.
