Lucy, an 8 years 5 month old female joined the "Pug Luv" family as a result of a telephone call from an Animal Control in the western part of the state. She was not eating at the shelter and was very withdrawn. She had been an owner surrender because the family could no longer afford to care for her. She is spayed,housebroken, crate trained, up to date of Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, Heart worm, fecal and blood testing and micro-chipped. She will have her teeth cleaned. She is blind in her left eye as a result of skirmish she had with a Rott earlier in her life.
update 8/19/13: Lucy was diagnosed with pneumonia prior to having her procedures completed. It is believed she was exposed while at the shelter she was at and it took a few days to show.
Update 9/20/13: Lucy had her teeth cleaned, a mast cell tumor removed and an inquinal tumor removed. A drainage tube was inserted and will be removed on 9/23/13 at which time we expect her to be ready for adoption.
