Tyson
We adopted Bugsy (formerly Tyson) from you in September 2004. He passed away on Friday June 122nd, just one week short of his 16th birthday. We loved and miss him very very much. Since we don't have kids, we spoiled him as much as possible. We took him everywhere with us and he loved every adventure. He was a great dog. Everyone who met him, loved him. He was so charming. He absolutely loved going for walks and even took some agility classes. Like most Pugs, his favorite time of the was meal time. Each time we were getting his food ready, he would bark and dance the entire time. day. We volunteer at MHS and we used to give the new employee orientation. Bugsy would always come with us and serve as greeter and floor cleaner if anyone in attendance accidently dropped any of the refreshments. We foster kittens also and he was good with them too, allowing them to run over and under him without much fuss.
Life going forward will be much emptier without my little black shadow. Thank you for rescuing all the great Pugs, especially Bugsy. We are so greatful that we did.
Sincerely
Karen & Carey Iler
Gordon
Gordon passed away last year 2017. He had developed cancer in his mouth. It was a quick growing cancer. He loved to cuddle under my arm at night in bed.

Ceasar
Caesar passed away this week 3/19/2018. Out of all the pugs we have had him the longest. He was 2-1/2 when we got him. Here I wanted to see if the temperament of black pugs was different than fawns. I don't know if it was because he was a puppy, but he was more of a wild child. My daughter used to dress him up in scarves. He was almost 16 wen he died.
Shelby
You were left on the streets to fend for yourself. We picked you up from Animal Control knowing you were so so fragile. We did all we could even though the doctors said no. You were loved for the short time we had you with us and so many people were pulling for you. You can now run free and no longer will have any pain. We will meet you and all our other friends at the entrance to the bride someday. Until then know you were loved and run free.
