Lola
We rescued Lola from MPR in 2012, and on November 20, 2021, we made the difficult decision to say goodbye to Lola. We've been putting off writing this email, because telling you seems like it's closing the book on her life for good.
Last year Lola was diagnosed with Pug Myelopathy, and her condition had progressed quickly, to the point that Lola was really having a hard time walking. She seemed confused about how to move her legs, and was stumbling and falling while walking.
We took her for a wellness check, and were advised that she had maybe 6 months left, and as the condition progressed, she would have a harder time breathing, total paralysis, and seizures.
Lola shared a lot with us. Three homes within two states, the playful razzing she got from her cat sibling, Bella, the later passing of Bella, job and life changes, and much more. Throughout everything, she remained a loyal companion, never far away from where the action was. She loved looking outside and laying in the sun, hanging out with us, being petted, and TREATS! She loved being spoiled by Grandma B when Tony and I traveled, and rarely wanted to leave her house when we returned. Her big personality was loved by everyone, and she will be missed.
Again, thank you so much for putting her in our care. We loved her so much, and there will never be a dog quite like her.
Sincerely,
Jon Boncimino and Tony Ellis
Riley
Riley came to us from Pug Luv as a 9wk old puppy and even after 12 years it's just not long enough. You were always at my side and a welcome addition as a staff pet at Cole Veterinary. As you pass over the Rainbow Bridge and be with your buddy Max know you are missed by me and all of your fans!
Mickey
It is with sadness and fondest of memories we remember Mickey. He gave us 6+ Wonderful years of loving life and fun after adopting him from Pug Luv.
Mickey left us to go over the rainbow bridge on May 6,2021. Carl, Robin and our other pug pal Deuce will miss him always!
Willow
Today, Willow followed her brother, Pirate over the rainbow bridge. Although it is with sadness, Willow has lived a very long (18-19 years!), much beloved life. She was the sweetest, pretty-princess around! This special pug will be truly missed.
Ringo
You stayed with us too long to let you go. Then 8 years later you went to help a friend through a tough time and what a wonderful job you did. you changed his life but stayed in our hearts as though you had never left. You left us too soon but we had the opportunity to help you cross the bridge and for you to join your sisters and brothers that passed before you. You can now run like the wind with them.
