Carson
Just wanted to update on how Carson is doing with us. Sorry it took so long for me to write this, we've been busy settling in!
Carson has adjusted so well to our little family. He's the perfect match for us. He loves having a new section of yard to explore every day! It's so big for him that he's only walked the entire area maybe twice!
He really has brought us so much joy. He's getting better for his nail trims and warming up to the idea of having his face wiped daily.
He is an amazing dog. We love taking him on walks at the park and watching him have his zoomies around the house. It's safe to say he's comfortable here. We can find him curled up any given moment sound asleep. The cat isn't too impressed with him, but we think secretly he loves him.
Thank you all so much for helping us to make this possible. We love Carson!

Hi Larry and Kathy!!
Sorry I haven't written this sooner, but shady and I have been having so much fun in our new house! It has an upstairs and a huge backyard to run around in. Mom takes us for a walk every night, she even bought us coats for the colder nights. We have lots of toys to play with and mom had a big comfy bed in every room, so we can sleep wherever we want. We take turns sleeping in moms room or the boys. I'm still a little nervous going up the stairs, so dad carries me. Shady is fearless! She just runs up there like its a race!! We've met our new vet, she says I need to put on a few pounds, but shady is perfect. Mom cleans our ears and faces every day, I don't like it much, but after she says a good boy and I get a chewy treat. That's great since I lost some teeth. I just wanted to say thank you for getting us healthy again, and finding us a family that really loves and spoils us. We even have a cousin cinnamon in North Carolina that will visit soon! We can't wait for that! So, mom says we get to stay here forever, I'm really happy about that. She really takes good care of us. I get massages on my back and hips which is good for my arthritis, and shady likes to be brushed every night. We love our new home. Thank you for finding us a forever home!! We will visit everyone soon mom says, we can't wait!! Bye til next time, Cosmo and Shady
Cuddles
On Sunday, July 27, 2014, our family adopted âCuddlesâ â which our daughter Mackenzie renamed âDaisyâ. We brought along our 5 year old mini Goldendoodle âOliverâ for the big day. Oliver and Daisy hit it off right away. They were both excited and checking each other out â both of them seemed relaxed and happy. Little did we know that this little dog would become such an important member of our family in such a short timeâ¦.
Daisyâs first week at our house was one of transition for her and for us. She seemed a little anxious and was trying to figure out what was going on. She had her vet appointment on Tuesday â her second day at our home. She had a great check up and was full of personality for her new doctor. ï She continued to settle in a little more each day. She stuck close to our daughter Mackenzie throughout the day â rarely leaving her side. Mackenzie would sit with Daisy at our door wall window and watch the birds (and occasional deer). This is definitely one of Daisyâs favorite spots in our home. She sits and takes it all in â it is almost as if she has never looked out a window before. She just loves it.
Her other favorite place in our home is sitting next to Mackenzie in the lazy boy chair. She snuggles and sleeps here on and off throughout the day. Kathy â when you told us that sometimes she is almost like a âshadowââ¦..you were exactly right. She is our little shadow â she is always right there with you. She also likes to hang out in the kitchen when I am making dinner (she secretly hopes for me to drop something for her to gobble up) ï.
We love Daisy and cannot imagine our life without her now. She and Oliver are sharing toys and chew bonesâ¦..she lays down on the dog bed/pillow in our living room and started chews on her nylabone â she is funny â loaded with personality. We have taken Daisy camping with us these last couple of weekends â she loves it. We take her for lots of walks with Oliver, and she parades through the campground like nobodyâs business. She also loves to wear her new dresses and Michigan State Cheerleading outfit ï.
Thank you for this addition to our family. She is a sweet little girl and is full of love. We are very happy with Daisy ï

Carmella
Hi Larry and Kathy!
My little Ella girl is such a wonderful addition. Her personality has come out over the past month and it is so funny because she loves to sass her grandma and has a big girl bark when she hangs out with her doggie aunt and uncle. We are planning to come to the picnic
Chet
I wanted to update you on our wonderful "Frug". George came to us on New Year's Eve and his name was Chet. We named him George Chetland, and often call him "Chettie" and "Georgie Porgie". He has turned out to be a great pal and blessing. He has graduated from Puppy Kindergarten and his Intermediate class, of course, as valedictorian. Later this summer he will be starting his advanced class and will take his test to become a Canine Good Citizen through the AKC. George tends to be a hit wherever he goes. People often stop and ponder what he really is. I get the typical: my that's a big pug. As soon as I tell them he's half french bulldog they nod and say he looks more like a pug. I tend to agree until he throws his typical Frenchie "bat-ears" up and then he looks like a different dog. George absolutely loves his long walks. He frequents Main St in Rochester about everyday for a meet and greet. He loves to travel to Ohio several times a month to visit his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins of both the human and dog variety. He has a Rottweiler uncle, Chiweenie and German Shepherd cousins that love to run and play with George. I must admit, George is quiet spoiled. He loves being held like a baby, sleeps in bed, goes on car rides, loves the groomer and yes, unfortunately, has a chair at the table that he sits at. He is a fun-loving, sweet, snugly and extremely playful little boy that we adore. I am so glad you rescued "Chet" from that shelter. He has made himself right at home and is a great furry friend. Thanks so much for all you did for him. He is where God intended him to be!!!
