Stu
adopted Stu in November in 2009. He was recovering from femoral neck fractures and bilateral Legg-Perthes (which is a disease that causes a collapse in the hip joint). When I adopted Stu I had to perform various exercises with him to strengthen his hip bones and the muscles around them. He recovered perfectly from the surgery and the vet said that the exercises helped. Since the day I brought him home he has been a loyal companion. Stu eventually learned to walk on his back legs and even learned how to jump through his healing process. I have owned 2 pugs before Stu and I could not be more happy with how the Pug Rescue took care of him before I adopted him. Based on the cost of Stu's surgery, there is a good chance that in the wrong care Stu could have been euthanized. I am very happy that did not happen!!!
