Skippy
One year ago April 5th, we picked up Skippy and brought him to his forever home. One of my girls said that it was the "BEST DAY OF HER LIFE". After a couple days of adjustment Skippy fit right in. He thrives on being a part of the family, that is being close to us all the time. I have to admit the promises of my three children, that they will walk him, feed him, etc have never come to fruition, but he adores each of them. They say it takes a Village to raise a child, well, it takes one to raise a dog too. The neighbors adore Skippy and offer to walk him and feed him if we are not going to be home for an extended period. Skippy had a rough time with a stomach issues and scratched his cornea (while sniffing under shrubs we think), he is adored by all the Vets that have cared for him and helped him heal. My girlfriend got me a picture frame that says "who saved who" and I have to say that he has been such a joy and enhancement to our lives. He manages to get on top of the kitchen table and counters, he is a little monkey, we learned his tricks pretty fast though. When we picked him up he was 14 pounds, today he is about 21 pounds which is ideal for him. He loves to go for long walks and loves to sit on my lap and for some reason he loves clothes hampers (clean or dirty, he doesn't care).
I wanted to Thank Michigan Pug Luv for allowing us to adopt Skippy, he is a wonderful little guy.
Thanks again,
Kristen, Bijal, Sam, Claudia, Lauren & Skippy
